Winter Plaid Family Photos

When it comes to family photos, the simpler the better. This adorable family of four on our baby blog today got it right as they donned plaid and chambray and took to the park to play around and take a few pics. Our family session last year was such a disaster. I had my sweet husband haul one of our funky thrifted sofas to a country church 20 mins outside of town. With 1 infant and 1 toddler. In the freezing cold. In dressy clothes. By that time no one was in the mood to even fake smile. So this year I wanted something casual that just said “us”. So we threw on some boots, plaid, and chambray and loved on each other as the sun set. Kelly was there to capture the JOY and LOVE that is genuine and effortless. These images we will treasure forever. No doubt.
