One of our favorite topics to review is nurseries, and all things motherhood. It is one of the greatest gifts you can experience on Earth, and one topic we can all relate on. Today on the blog we have the privilege of sharing this heart warming vibrant South Africa inspired nursery tour. This nursery features a sweet pastel color palette and fun pops of vibrant colors like mustard yellow complimented by the stark contrast of the earth-toned furniture. This Vibrant South Africa inspired nursery tour is truly one we will look back over year after year to get re-inspired. Not only does it perfectly blend a sunset inspired color scheme with the contrasting blue’s to create a dreamy aesthetic. Every last detail was captured to perfection by the amazing Caitlin Alohilani Photography, don’t miss any of the details.

From Ariella’s mother, Natalie,

Ariella’s nursery was inspired by nature ~ a delicate balance of function and beauty. Raw woods, rattan finishes and soft autumn hues set the backdrop. These contors are colored in with personalized touches. These include watercolors created by Ariella’s dad and grandmother as well as favorite books from friends and family across the world. My bridal veil hangs over Ariella’s Nestig crib. There is a deliberate focus on textures for both ease of use and tactile stimulation, including a sheep skin, hand knitted blankets, Lovevery play gym and House of Noa play-mat. Reference to our home country, South Africa, can be found in our custom-design and handcrafted mobile ~ the African thunderstorm. Our Pehr llama mobile hangs close to the fiddle-leaf fig. It perfectly matches our Cuddle and Kind llama ~ a bespoke brand with a powerful cause. For me, no room is complete without a plant, for life breeds life. Where possible, I sourced sustainable products and supported local businesses. I want Ariella to grow up understanding the importance of protecting our planet and the power of simplicity. I wanted to create a space where Ariella and I can feel both the vibrancy of the African heartbeat and the peace of a Californian sunset.
