About the design and space,
This historic, 100+ year-old Philly Four Square is more than just a “a tour of Libby Rawes’ personal home” – it’s the birthplace of Sharp and Grey Interiors and the heart of her creative process. As she describes it, the home is a “living design laboratory”, a space constantly in motion, always reflecting her evolving vision and deep love for design. Each room is both a reflection of Libby’s personal style and a canvas for new ideas, making the home an ever-evolving expression of her work and identity.
Libby Rawes of Sharp and Grey Interiors shares,
“Within these walls, the traditional structure of the East Coast meets a laid-back soul inspired by [my] Colorado roots. Each reimagined room explores this unique dialogue, weaving the elegance of history with an effortless, West Coast simplicity.”
In the living room, a soft cream linen sofa is positioned comfortably beside darker accents and raw wooden textures, creating that perfect balance between cozy and collected. The kitchen echoes a blend of muted green cabinets, gold hardware, and a mix of marble and warm wood to create a space that’s both timeless and welcoming.

There are two dining areas – one more rustic, with wicker-based chairs, a stone fireplace, and plenty of charm. The other feels a bit more refined, with a grand piano, leather seating, and layers of rich wood.
The thoughtful palette continues into the bathroom, where those soft greens, marble countertops, and gold accents make for a serene, sophisticated moment. Even the laundry room feels calm and intentional. In the primary bedroom, there are blends of rustic floors with sleek, modern touches – a quiet retreat, grounded and light.

Ultimately, this home becomes a dynamic backdrop for Libby’s evolving journey, a place where her creativity continually thrives and transforms. The spaces are constantly shifting, reimagining themselves, and taking shape under the guidance of the principal designer’s vision. Every room exudes a quiet warmth, a gentle beauty that draws you in. It’s not just a showcase of thoughtful design; it’s a living, breathing reflection of life itself – rich with meaning, comfort, and soul.
