3 Restaurants I Loved On My Holiday Trip to Paris

A winter trip to Paris has been on my bucket list since I started taking French lessons in middle school. 2023 was the year it finally happened! My family and I headed to Europe for the holidays and while it’s nearly impossible to narrow down the trip to just a few key highlights, today, I’m sharing 3 restaurants I loved on my holiday trip to Paris! (I’m already dying to go back to them.) I’m also including 3 that I didn’t get to visit this time around, but they are now at the top of my list! Trust me when I say each of these spots deserves to be on your foodie travel itinerary!

3 Spots I Tried and Loved:

L’as du Fallafel

Okay, I know this may not seem like the kind of spot that would be at the top of a “French food list” but believe me when I say this: if you get ONE bite of food in Paris, make it the falafel special from L’as du Fallafel. The long lines (that move quickly, I promise!) outside this spot are a good sign of the magic you’re about to devour.

Rosie

This spot has total “IBT” vibes and I couldn’t get enough of the cute interior, fun menu, and modern cocktails! It’s a great spot to share a few different plates with friends but don’t forget to save room for their incredible desserts!

Didon

Didon serves up an elevated twist on French food – this was where we went for our New Year’s Eve dinner, and it’s the perfect spot for a special occasion dinner to treat yourself to on your trip to Paris. It’s right near the Louvre, although I think the best way to kill time before your reservation is to hop in line at Shakespeare and Company to browse their books (it’s only about a 10-15 minute walk from Didon).

3 Spots at The Top of My List for My Next Visit:

Clown Bar

This iconic spot is known for its cocktails and unique food! The key is to either have a reservation OR show up right when they open to try to grab a spot at the bar!

Ober Mamma

Break up all the croissants with some Italian food at Ober Mamma! Cacio e pepe served straight from a cheese wheel is an immediate yes for me.

Immersion

I have one word for you: brunch. This spot is the perfect place to fuel up before a day of sightseeing or shopping in Paris! There’s a reason why it’s included in this ‘restaurants I loved on my holiday trip to Paris’ blog.
