ValGalentines Day is right around the corner! And if anyone knows how to celebrate, it’s the babes at Bloom Maven! These floral masterminds with the help of Celebrate for Good put together the chicest Southwestern dinner party perfect for Galentines Day. Valentine’s Day means pink and red everything – and while the ladies kept in step with the traditional colors, they gave their own Arizona flair to the rest of the decor. Think pampas grass, cacti, and teracotta.

Bloom Maven is a floral boutique in Tucson, Arizona, run by the ultimate Boss Babe, Akiko Senda. Her team is surrounded by love on the daily as they serve wedding couples all over the state, so she wanted to host a special dinner just for her Bloom Babes and celebrate the friendships and connections that being in business together has brought them.
The dinner party was hosted in the Barrio Viejo at a 100-year-old bungalow named Adobe Libre. To celebrate Galentines, each Babe was asked to dress in pink or red to fit the love vibes. Custom name cards from Palm and Pine Co. were laser cut from leather with a metallic patina for a little touch of glam. The floral arrangements were modern with a touch of the Southwest.
Cocktails served were Cotton Candy Bubbly and Mexican Mules, and of course, no Galentines dinner would be complete without a selection of wine! While the sushi chef from Kukai prepped a special dinner, the Babes wrote notes of encouragement on gorgeous stationery by Juju Moxie SD to women living in the Emerge Women’s Center. Galentines is all about celebrating and building up other women. Local sweets were served including macarons from Woops! BakeShop and dark chocolate bars from Monsoon Chocolate.
Decor for the dinner included a hand dyed Macrame hanging by Solace Macrame, floral arrangements by Bloom Maven, and rentals from Frostings Event Design Rentals and Dust Heritage. Celebrate for Good coordinated the whole event where she donates part of her coordination fee to the non-profit of your choice. How amazing is that?!
