On the brink of Halloween celebrations happening this weekend, and our own office party on the 31st, we thought we would spook-ify our space a bit. And what better way to decorate than with candy? Our candy of choice? HI-CHEW! We loved using HI-CHEW because they are colorful, fun, and also delicious. Here are the creative candy themed Halloween party ideas we followed to not only enjoy the candy but decorate with it too! The result is a spook-tacular setup ready for Halloween festivities.
1. Pick a Theme
First of all, pick a Halloween-y theme – we went with a witchy theme. We created a focal point around the theme with a backdrop that read “Cheers Witches.” Cute, right?
Pick decorative objects that go with your theme. Ours consisted of a haunted witch house, plastic spiders, and cobweb-type linens to set them on. We also decided to use HI-CHEW candies as decor because of the pop of color they provided. The Mango and Green Apple flavors are not only our favorite, but also went particularly well with the color palette. We stung them together to create a garland and love how it turned out!
3. Serve up Sips & Sweets
It’s not a Halloween party without festive beverages and candy, of course! We chose to serve up cocktails (or witches brew) in green glasses to stick with our theme. The “Oh you fancy huh” drink stirrers were the perfect addition! We also had plenty of HI-CHEW candy on hand – duh! We wanted the candy to be easily accessible so we served it up in goblets and bowls on the table.
4. Trick or Treat Your Guests
Finally, don’t let your guests go home empty handed! Pass out candy bags so they can have leftover candy too – and you’re not left with it all. However, we would gladly keep all the leftover HI-CHEWs to ourselves. 🙂
This post is in partnership with HI-CHEW. We are happy to work with brands we love. All opinions expressed are our own.
