One qualm we have with a lot of the fitness gear out there is the lack of ability to listen to music in addition to all the necessary fitness tracking components. This quality is in turn what sold us on the new TomTom Spark GPS Fitness Watch. Yes, the heart rate monitor, activity tracking, and GPS systems that other fitness devices may or may not have is still present in the TomTom Spark. These attributes are important to us so sacrificing them for our phone or music player when we can’t go without a fierce playlist is not ideal. We love that we get the best of both worlds with this minimalistic watch.
The lightweight wristwatch is the perfect workout accompaniment. It’s less obtrusive than an armband or belt that can feel uncomfortable or heavy, and has a wireless headphones that won’t wrap around your waist or neck while you’re exercising. You can also store up to 500 songs on the TomTom Spark so you can sync all your favorite workout playlists. We’re loving this one currently for upbeat motivation!
Tracking your intensity is easy with the TomTom Spark technology. Real-time information such as time, distance, speed, pace and calories burnt can be accessed directly on the watch, while more detailed information is available via the phone application or online where you can also track daily or weekly goals. This can be as simple as walking a desired distance (an ongoing daily goal for our office), or planning workouts around desired heart rate intervals.
We love the black on black combo for a sleek, go-with-everything look, but the straps are fully customizable for whatever your style.
