San Diego Botanical Gardens Wedding

This San Diego Botanical Gardens wedding blended right in with it’s venue thanks to a pastel color palette and beautiful florals! With all that gorgeous greenery surrounding them, the bride & groom hardly needed much decor to dress up the outdoor space. Instead, they let it shine, hanging a few chandeliers between the trees and keeping everything else relatively simple and neutral. P.S. this is the last wedding we’re sharing in 2017! And we think it helps us go out with a bang :).

Photographer Garrett Richardson shares…

Ashley & Jordan’s wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas, CA was so much fun! She’s from Texas and he’s from Colorado but they have both adapted to the sunny beach life in San Diego quite well. Ashley and her ladies wore robes from Plum Pretty Sugar while getting ready for the big day. Maria Owston Floral Designs created some of the most beautiful bouquets for Ashley and her bridesmaids. They were truly a work of art!

All eyes were on Ashley as she was escorted by her dad down the aisle to see her groom, for the first time. One of my favorite images from the day was seeing her dad in tears, arm in arm with his daughter – it was really sweet. Her dress, designed by Allure Romance from Mia Bella Couture in Del Mar, was perfect to wander throughout the gorgeous gardens with her new husband! Ashley also had a cut out of her mom’s dress that was embroidered and sewn under her dress – what a special way to honor her parents and their long and beautiful marriage.

Korie Norton from Bliss Events brought all the personal details and design together. It made for a truly easy-going day and everyone was able to sit back and enjoy the sweet moments as they continued to unfold. Finally, VG Donuts & Bakery’s delicious desserts and cake hit the spot, ending the night on a sweet note.
