Milk and Honey Inspired Wedding

What happens when you decide to focus on a wedding design with two of the sweetest ingredients you can get?… the results are amazing. We will be the first to admit we would have written off this concept if we hadn’t seen how amazing the concept turned out. Creative ideas like this milk and honey inspired wedding is the innovative concepts we cannot get enough of!

Carly Jean Photography shares,

Golden bohemian tones, minimalist touches & professional models who happen to be a real-life couple? Yes Please! Inspired by the name of my very first workshop I co-hosted alongside Danyelle Dee Photography, we dreamed up a modern, Milk & Honey look dripping with sweet details. Every aspect was hand-curated by us to create the ultimate photoshoot that would inspire our attendees to shoot their hearts out! Many aspects were repurposed from my own wedding last year, from the wicker room divider, thrift amber glasses & cake stand to the veil I wore from Rue De Seine! The groom’s suit was borrowed from our best man, and the rusty color couldn’t have been more fitting. I put my mother in law to work to create a white & golden charcuterie board along with a simple cake dusted with gold foil. I had worked with our model Mia Clayton once before & as soon as I saw photos of her and her boyfriend together, I knew we had to have them both for this shoot! Not only are they both insanely good looking, but they also are adorably in love & had a blast pretending to get married (they’ll get married for real this year)! Lace & Liberty provided a sleek two-piece bridal look that we fell head over heels with, adding to our delicious milky tones to set the scene. Amy West Floral gave us actual heart eyes with perfectly rendered desert-esque florals which mixed dried & fresh stems to bring the entire look together. For our tablescape, we used concrete candle holders to pair with softer touches like the velvet runner to bring together a romantic yet modern look.
