If you’re the bride who’s slightly sick of (dare we say it) neutrals, you will LOVE (we mean it!) this bright botanical bridal inspiration. It is full of bold, colorful, stunning florals and a bridal beauty look that’s equally as bold and stunning. So, bring out the color pop lipstick and don’t be afraid of going big when it comes to your fashion and floral choices. This team of vendors did, and boy! did it pay off.
The planner, Jessica at Weddings by Jessee, describes the shoot in detail below.
When dreaming up this bridal inspiration shoot, we wanted to make a statement with large, colorful seasonal blooms. We livened these blooms even more with a wall installation of lush green botanicals that served as a backdrop for the bride to sit in front of. The scenery came to life against the white backdrop of the venue space.
The colors of late Spring inspired the design’s bold color palette. Petal Society took full advantage of peony season with coral charms, magenta tree peonies, and white festiva maxima peonies. They also used spirea, lavender clematis, blue nigella, and gold ranunculus which rounded out the colors.
The bride was adorned in an exquisite Calla Blanche gown with a soft and romantic illusion neckline. The bodice was embellished with heavy beadwork and embroidery, which paired beautifully with the long sweeping silk chiffon train. This airy and dreamy dress provided a stunning canvas for the beautiful and lush blooms.
To make an even bigger color statement, we arranged a table setting adorned with a beautiful gold patterned linen and rimmed plates, along with a bold floral centerpiece. All together set up against a royal blue background to enhance the colors of the design.
