Watercolor Korean First Birthday Party

We love a good all-out first birthday party, but this beautiful watercolor party is on another level. The Korean culture celebrates the first birthday in such a unique and significant way – from the “choosing ceremony” to the long list of attendees. We love how Rekindle Creative designed this one for her very own son!

From the event planner and momma herself, As an event planner/designer + florist myself, I was so excited to throw a party for my very own child. The theme of the party was indigo watercolor because I wanted the theme to be something fun/kid friendly for my son. Also, I wanted to keep everything as organic and natural as possible so I stuck with just whites and greens for all the florals. We had watercolor on the invites, party hats, dessert backdrop, place cards, bible verse banner, macarons, and many other areas. Overall, it was such a memorable day with family and friends to celebrate my little guy turning one!
