Our very own Leila Lewis (mom of 4!!) celebrated her daughter turning 6 in style with the most adorable Teepee sleepover birthday party, planned to a T, with the help of sprinkle + dot. From the adorable individual teepees for each guest, to all the pink, girly details that would make any little one feel like a princess, they nailed it. Leila shares, It feels like once you have children time just flies by – one day you are teaching them how to walk, and then you blink and they are celebrating their 6th birthday! It seems surreal to me that my little girl turned six years old just a few weeks ago. I feel so passionately that slowing down to celebrate the people around you is necessary in our fast-paced world. So, I knew this year her birthday celebration had to be extra special.
While doing party-planning research I found the cutest company in Denver, sprinkle + dot (I love that it was co-founded by two Girlboss moms!). I saw tents and accessories on their site and Instagram that could make any birthday party Pinterest board come to life. I knew that they would totally get my vision for an adorable and easy-to-plan party. I chose the Blush + Bloom theme on their site for 8 girls.
On the day of the party they came and set up every little detail for me. I just provided the snacks and voilá! Um, what!? This is every mom’s dream!! Not only was the whole process as easy as ordering on Amazon, but it also turned out better than I could have imagined! The party was full of homemade popcorn, movies, adorable champagne flutes, and dancing! The best part was seeing all the girls run to each of their own tents, squealing at the top of their lungs thanking my birthday girl. Each tent was set up with bedding, a soft rug, organic lemonade, and a little sleep over kit with a toothbrush, soft white eye mask, and adorable socks.
