We’re very aware of the bright bohemian trend in interior design, and equally obsessed! The ladies at Pure Salt Interiors achieved it so well in this bright bohemian girls bedroom. They used indigo pillows & patchwork quilts, useful and unique accessories, and just the right amount of color. It’s what anyone who used to share a room with their sister wishes they once had!
Leigh & Aly from Pure Salt Interiors share, For the girls bedroom, we really wanted to create something colorful, fresh and fun with some elements full of character to set it all off. We also wanted it to be something that they could grow with over the years. this meant using pieces of furniture that were relatively neutral and timeless. We sourced all of the furniture from Land of Nod. The Jenny Lind beds are some of our favorite selections.
We really wanted the artwork to bring the space to life. And we felt like a bright water color cactus would do the trick. The colorful Kanthas from The Woven Home add that touch of old character that we always like to incorporate. This way, it doesn’t feel too new and sterile…and best part – the girls love them! We finished the space off with shelves filled with all of their favorite books. Lastly, we filled colorful baskets to the brim with their most cherished toys.
