Our August Reading List

Summer is the time when we often get most of our reading done. Our favorite TV shows are on break for the season, we’re spending as much time as possible at the beach, and also on airplanes. So, our kindles have become glued to our sides as we page our way through exhilarating thrillers and inspiring handbooks written by driven women. If you have made your way through our last summer lineup, you’ll be as anxious as we were to pick up one of these- Here is what made our August reading list:

Fates & Furies by Lauren Groff

Girl on the Train meets Gone Girl – this page turner examines the complexities and perspectives of both sides of a marriage. You’ll fall in love with the story of Lotto and Mathilde until you realize not everything in life is always as it seems.

The Girl Before by JP Delaney

If you’re looking for a new thrill writer to read, look no further. JP Delaney delivers a page-turner with a story that follows two women down eerily similar paths, but will their fates end up the same? Bonus: Ron Howard is set to direct the film adaptation of this book!

Lean In By Sheryl Sandberg

We can’t think of anyone better than Chief Operating Officer of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg, to inspire all women in the work force.
