Inspired by Giving Back!!

I can’t believe that Thanksgiving week is finally here! Here at Be Inspired Wedding Public Relations, we are so excited to kick off the holidays and celebrate the only way we know how… with our loved ones of course! While it’s definitely a fun and blissful time of the year, it’s also important to reflect on the amazing year that has passed and all you are grateful for. Family, friends, a new job, a roof over your head… whatever it may be, never lose sight of all the blessings in your life!

Last year, I wanted to show some gratitude to everyone who has helped me get to where I am today by giving away a complimentary wedding PR consulting session for January! This year, I’m excited to share that we are giving away yet another a half-hour consulting session!! I’m looking forward to working with someone who is inspired to make changes in their businesses, grow and take their brand to the next level. To enter, just leave a comment telling us what inspires you and we’ll randomly select one as the winner. I’m looking forward to maybe working with YOU in the New Year!

*Contest has ended! Congrats to our winner, Jen of Fondly Forever Photography! So excited to work with her!

  1. My last year has been a time of reflection!! I decided to shut the doors to my storefront which I opened for my event planning and floral design company. It was hard because I had to learn the hard way about “Location Location”. I invested a lot of money for renovations and decor but I just had to make the hard decision. My family has always inspired me to create all things fantastic and I did not need a store to continue creating Sublime events. The last year has taught me that everything happens at it’s divine time and I just have to stay current on trends and the industry that I Love!! I realize Branding is important and I am currently working on re-branding Sublime Moments. Scary but exciting!!! I am open to receive all the help I can get.

  2. i’m always inspired by the goal to put my best foot forward at all times. i’ve taken my business as far as i can go with the brand i’ve developed it on. i’m in the midst of making rebranding decisions and i just know it’s what stands in the way of me pushing things to the next level. you are such an inspiration to me and all that is the basis of your brand. i’d love to not be afraid to express myself in my brand and make sure it’s not a copy of what i think it SHOULD be. instead, be something that is genuinely me,

  3. I’m inspired everyday by what it would be like to start my own business. Trying to build a brand seperate from your corporate identity is tough. All roads seem to be pointing towards biting the bullet and working for myself full time. I couldn’t be more excited about the experiences ahead of me and I’d love to have the opportunity to speak with someone who can guide me in the right direction to build my brand.

  4. PROCESS inspires me! The process of working with clients to narrow in on a perfect vision for them, sourcing and combining just the right design elements, growing and adapting internal business processes to better serve my client & give them the best possible experience…and the process of growing together in marriage…communication, forgiveness, giving and accepting, encouraging, and working together to support each other…it’s all a process, and letting go, enjoying & thriving in the midst of the process inspires me!

  5. Oh what a wonderful opportunity! I am inspired everyday by my friends, my family and my community who dare to make their dreams come true and who work hard to make it happen. I am inspired by my girl friends who become beautiful mothers. I am inspired by my wonderful husband who loves me, supports me in everything I do. I am blessed.

  6. What a great giveaway! I am inspired by family, nature and books. They each focus on a different aspect of life and provide insight to things outside the wedding and event planning world.
    Happy Thanksgiving! xoxo

  7. Inspiration is one of the things that keeps me going every day. I am always looking for a new and fresh way to keep my mind working on different ideas for weddings and events. Making sure that I can produce an event that showcases the bride and groom or client in a personal way to make their event truly “theirs” is huge in our business model. I find inspiration when traveling, eating at restaurants, shopping(of course) and just in general by the way nature looks similar yet different on a day to day basis. I hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving and eats lots of amazing food. GOOBLE GOBBLE.

  8. Thank you so much for doing this! I am a true believer in using your blessings to bless others. I am inspired by a few different things, but the one that sits at the top of the list is love. I believe that love heals all wounds and if more people gave love, there wouldn’t be so many angry people walking around. I know it seems cheesy, but it’s true. Love is my inspiration — to live each day ensuring that I did something to spread love.

  9. I am not to say that I am still trying to actually make a living doing what I love. It is actually blogs like this that keep me going. Knowing another person has struggled and has succeeded is incredibly inspiring. I hope to be able to help others as you have once I get my business going! Many Thanks to you for your inspiring blog!

  10. Life inspires me! Each day I see new and different ways of looking at the world and it inspires me to be a better person, wife, mom, and business owner.

Taking my brand to the next level would do fantastic things in my life and business.

    Inspire me!!!

  11. Oh my gosh, how awesome! I’m continually inspired by the women in the ‘creative’ industry, supporting themselves and their families, while doing what they love. I hope in the new year I will be able to do more for my own family. Thanks for extending your gratitude!

  12. I’m always inspired by my clients. The experiences we have while working together constantly give my ideas on how to better my business. Things like how to better answer emails, all the way up to producing custom video content to promote my services. And who better to be inspired by than the people directly supporting your business!

  13. Life and everything around me inspires me. 2011 was a tough year when I decided to rebrand my business in 2010. While 2012 has been great and I am very proud of the accomplishments I have achieved, I am always looking to grow more. The wedding industry has been very inspirational in not just my photography style but my personal life style. I am so grateful to have had the chance to work with so many amazing creatives and have been inspired and motivated by Leila and the whole Be Inspired team.

  14. Hi Ladies!! 🙂
What inspires me? My family, friends, couples all do. They have been such a support system and I’m unbelievably blessed to have them in my life! I’ve learned so much this year, and even more these past few weeks. God has shown so much of Himself to me and that has inspired me to be the change I want to see in the world (and more). I’m so very grateful of that.

  15. Inspiration for me and my business comes in many forms. In terms of design, I’m continuously inspired by history and the stories that accompany objects that have age and have been loved and used by their owners.

Inspiration for my business can be more difficult to muster sometimes, when things get difficult and start to feel hopeless or overwhelming. During those moments, my friends and family who always support and believe in me and my work continually infuse me with motivation and remind me of my successes and talents. Also, I’m inspired by people who pay it forward and seek to inspire others to achieve their goals. It makes me want to use my knowledge and experiences to to the same for someone else someday.

  16. I am inspired by the variety of clients that we get to work with. It would be so dreadfully boring if everyone wanted the same thing. I enjoy being able to express myself artistically through their desires, ideas and and personal style.

  17. My husband, my kids and beautiful everyday transformations all inspire me! Their growth and desire to learn and take on new experiences fire me up! Seeing people take ordinary occurrences and turn them into something extraordinary fuels my passion to keep getting better and doing more! An American Idol show can have me in (happy) tears and writing a major to-do list in minutes – to see these young and talented singers give it their all and risk so much for their dreams….oh my! And above all, to see how God’s hands are guiding my steps…..I can’t help but keep going to see what’s next! I am excited and ready to take my business to the next level in 2013!

  18. I’m always inspiring to push myself and my business. I have hit roadblocks on the way but they make me wan to dig my heals in more and make things happen. The more tools I can gather the easier I can move thru the road blocks.

  19. I’m ridiculously inspired by many people in the wedding industry, but particularly wedding suppliers in the States. Being a British photographer working in the U.K. I long to inject a little of America into my business practices. I wish that the U.K. wedding market would catch up with you guys in terms of design & aesthetics for a wedding. I’m inspired by how much thought many American couples & their fellow suppliers put into their weddings, and just how beautiful & personalised they are to the couple, with hand crafted details and fine design. Sure there are sometimes weddings in the U.K. that are just as beautiful, but not quite so many. I’d love to grow my business to a level where I can inspire British couples to make their weddings as beautiful as they dream they can be (incoporating our infamous good weather of course) and equally I’d love to work with American suppliers who share my love of all things beautiful! Happy Thanksgiving! x

  20. i’m so inspired by opportunity. i’ve been so burnt out and uninspired lately… my (once dream) corporate job has just been draining me of my normal enthusiasm and energy. i’ve started working on a new business idea that will combine my interests with my strengths and i’m so excited to get started… i feel more inspired by this new start than i have in years!

i’m also so inspired by all of the creatives that post and share and teach via blogs, e-courses, etc. such an amazing world we live in these days!

  21. Beauty. Love. Watercolors, like love, are softly layered and transparent. To be able to absorb and express the beauty of a floral creation through a watercolor painting is half of what I strive to do. It is also about giving a couple something beautiful to live with, to remind them each day of one of the most precious moments of their lives – their union, and the wondrous love that they share with one another.

In the near future, as my business grows, I would like Watercolor Weddings to be able to give to our communities by running and/or sponsoring sea-side athletic races to raise funds for beach clean up and aquatic research to help take care of our California coastline… and spread the love a little further!

  22. Over the last year I have been inspired to follow my passion in life, starting my own event design + coordination business. Acknowledging that I wanted and could DO this has helped me grow in every aspect of my life. As my company is getting off the ground, I am still teaching – and surprisingly plans to change my career have made me a better teacher. Now when I tell my students they can do anything, I truly believe it. I have also realized I can be an example for my young niece, and even my husband who has career-change dreams. As a young company, I could certainly use help navigating this new business world!

  23. I am inspired by the kindness of the people in the wedding industry. Being around a group of passionate, creative people who work hard to make sure their friends succeed keeps me inspired to make the industry a beautiful place for all of us. As John F. Kennedy said “a rising tide lifts all boats.”

  24. I’m so inspired by all of the amazing wedding vendors and bloggers that I see on a daily basis! I never would have even known that doing what I love to do is possible without them! xoxo

  25. I’m inspired by my husband, who followed his dream and works hard to live the life he imagined. I started my new business this year and I want to get it to the next level as quickly as I can. Winning this would be so helpful! Thank you!

  26. I am inspired by all of the people who run their own businesses and have kids. My wife and I are having our first child in December, and this whole year, I have been trying to reach out to people in the wedding industry to hear tips on how they juggle it all. It can be done, but how does one do it? I am inspired to have my business run smoother so I can be a super involved parent. Thanks

  27. I am inspired by so many things both personally and professionally in my jewelry business! I am inspired by beautiful images like those from Elizabeth Messina and heartfelt words like those on your blog. I am inspired by travel and in trying to capture the feelings and emotions of experiences outside of the everyday. I am inspired by nature and beauty in the world around me. I am inspired by smart and creative entrepreneurs who strive for greatness and success based on their own definition. I am constantly working on taking my business to the next level and I would love to have some inspiring advice on how to do that! xo AW.

  28. Others who are making a living off of their own companies inspire me! I launched my company last year and am working my butt off to gain more clients in order to quit my day job in 2013. You inspire me!

  29. My wife and I created our company after we found her booking more and more wedding appointments and really needing the additional income. Fast forward to 2012 and we’ve styled almost 500 heads! Our inspiration comes from the happy faces and sweet (albeit short) relationships that we build with our Brides and their family! We are looking for an Industry Leader to help mentor us to the next level – to grow and touch more lives and become and sustain what we already feel in our hearts and minds.

  30. I’m inspired by my business partner and brother who despite having to commute 3.5hrs each day to work and is now the father of 3, with the addition of two new twin boys, still has the time to try and invest in our brother/sister business idea for the Celebrant industry. We have been working so hard and are so inspired by the wonderful Celebrants that we are working with and just want our product to achieve the best results so it gets passed onto these hardworking Celebrants. They are the face presented at the Ceremony on the day and are such inspiring, beautiful people.

  31. I am inspired by love and feel so lucky to truly love what I do. The feeling and enery that surrounds a wedding day is what keeps me inspired and creative. Being able to document true love is why I have the best job in the world.

  32. Creative people inspire me! I love when I can tell that someone put in a real effort to do whatever it is that they do. It shows they really care and I love and appreciate that!
