Inspired by My Coral, Peach and Blush Pink Los Angeles Bridal shower

In general, I’m not much of  a “pink” person. But I will say I may be turning the corner now. Peaches and corals and blushes OH MY! Even our dresses (cute similar ones here and here !) coordinated with the color scheme! You may remember the inspiration that started it all, but I finally get to share with you what really happened that cool and crisp February day I showed up at my  Coral, Peach and Blush Pink Los Angeles Bridal shower! I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful time spent with my closest friends and colleagues. I was so touched by the people who came near and far. Especially my client Antonia Christianson who flew out from Virginia Beach to be there with me and my now husband Tony, who was there with Courtney, Carissa and my sisters to help set up the event. You can see what Jen at Green Wedding Shoes blogged about my shower here! ( she was there so she can attest to how fab it was!)

Below I have my side of the bridal shower story. The ins and outs of all the details, so read on to see!!

Ben Potter & Drew Barefoot made this lovely movie clip of that special day!

If you are wondering what game we are playing after watching this clip, its only one of my favorite games ever… PICTIONARY!!!

everyone that came wrote me the cutest “L is for Love notes” I cherish the words my friends shared with me

how amazing is my peony hand painted invite by Momental Designs?? and all the cute day of paper items Olive Hue put together for me?

Love these soft and pretty streamers to liven up a plain wall!

How amazing is the space at High Profile where the shower was thrown? LOVE IT!

How pretty are all of these colorful tablecloths? Tablecloths are a really great option to personalize the party with your favorite color scheme!

I was obsessed with this couch that comes with the space at High Profile–love gold-accented furniture! Of course Carissa found those cute textured pillows to highlight the couch with!

Had to have rannunculas and parrot tulips galore!

the gifts that my planner Courtney found, wrapped and gave for the winners of the games we played. How cute are these? I told her I wanted one just to take home and put on my shelf it was so well done.

Can you believe that silhouette is actually me? Look at that long pony tail. (which is no more since i just cut it all off!) but its fun to reminisce on what it used to look like!

My favorite cocktails using grapefruit and peach flavors all mixed up by my favorite caterer Nathaniel!!

the L is for… theme was all a surprise to me by Carissa and Courtney. TOTALLY LOVED IT!!

I had the most beautiful dessert display I think i have ever seen!

My cupcakes were pieces of ART! Almost too gorgeous to eat…

Thanks Mel for the beautiful cake. You dreamed up yet another beautiful one for me.

It was fun showing up at a party just for me and being surprised by every little detail these amazing people put together for me. Carissa went above and beyond with all the styling and design and working with all the wonderful vendors. I know my sister Kellee had never helped throw anything quite like this before and since then she has said to me “I have so much respect for wedding and event planners! how how do they do this all the time? So many details all the time!”

I got to pick all my favorite Pinkberry flavors and all the toppings I wanted for this! It was the first Pinkberry bar they’ve done for a private party in LA!

My mini smoothies that Pinkberry made for us. Peaches, bananas, coconut, pineapple, strawberries etc… YUM!

My friend Courtney has an amazing company where she makes custom perfumes and put together the best scent bar. It was also the favor that everyone took home with them wrapped in a label that said L is for Love. I still use that perfume I made from the shower every day.

I feel incredibly blessed to have had some of the most talented vendors working to make everything come together. The shower took place in the art district of Culver City at  High Profile Productions. The space provided a clean canvas for my design team of JL Designs, Joyful Weddings and Events, Classic Party Rentals, Level 4 International, and Elegant Designs to create my vision. Highlights of the event were the Pinkberry station, create your own scent station by Kamilyin, gorgeously designed cupcakes by Cupcakes Couture, and the beautiful cake by Sweet and Saucy Shop. My guests also snacked on yummy finger food by Contemporary Catering.  Thanks so much to Momental Designs who created my invitation and Olive Hue Paper for my beautiful day of paper products and my beauty squad of Kacee Geoffroy and Island Spray Tan.   Thanks also to Jessica Claire for capturing it all, and Cana VP for the amazing video!
