New Year’s Eve Elopement with a bold Bridal look

What could be sweeter on New Years Eve than an elopement surrounding the idea of new beginnings?! Our answer is a resounding, nothing! This gorgeous couple decided that they wanted to celebrate their changed wedding plans (thanks Covid) to focus on joy and new beginnings. So naturally it makes sense they would celebrate their commitment to each other in a beautiful elopement ceremony centered around the joy and excitement of NYE!

2020 was supposed to be the year! After two postponements and plans to move their day into 2021, Brittni and Eric simply weren’t satisfied with the idea of waiting even longer to join their lives together in marriage! As many can attest, 2020 has been an incredibly challenging year. But this couple had dreamed of getting married in 2020 and decided to make their dream a reality. They decided to say goodbye to 2020 in style and ring in the new year as husband and wife with a New Year’s Eve elopement.

In this intimate NYE elopement designed and coordinated by Kristina of Events by Kristina Elyse, brides will find inspiration for a New Years Eve wedding celebration focusing on what matters most – celebrating the love and commitment you’re making as a couple!

Nestled just outside the Greater Sacramento area in Northern California stands the charming private estate, The Stables, which offers several acres of land and houses newly renovated stables and barn facilities. Brittni and Eric wanted a venue that provided a very chic and modern vibe, as well as enough space for their few family and friends to celebrate their new marriage safely. They decided to take a non-traditional approach to their special day by wearing non-traditional wedding attire. The bride wore a black sparkly and sheer BHLDN gown designed by Hayley Paige. For hair and makeup, the bride wanted a very sleek, chic and natural look which was beautifully executed by Michele Deeann. The groom wore a red velvet tux by The Black Tux which made the perfect festive holiday statement.

Inspired by the white walls and black details from The Stables and knowing this couple wanted a very modern and chic vibe for their day, Paulina of Fig & Vine designed romantic floral arrangements in the cocktail and lounge area, as well as a bridal bouquet and boutonniere to match.

For the ceremony, the couple chose to exchange their vows underneath an oak tree on the property right at sunset. But right after the ceremony, the party started! They moved inside the barn where high-top cocktail tables were decorated with disco balls and bulb vases, and a gold deco bar shelf stood as the display for more floral arrangements and a delicate white cake created by Baker and a Black Cat. Along with the high-tops and gold bar, Sacramento Event Co. provided two oversized velvet gray chairs and side tables for a very inviting lounge area. The couple ended the new year and their special evening by sipping champagne and igniting celebratory sparklers at midnight.
