Any time there’s a wedding with an Al Fresco reception and a beach view, our hearts are happy. This neutral destination wedding is making all of our dreams come true! Rebecca and Greg knew they wanted an intimate wedding with only their closest family and friends. The Cape Hotel in Cabo was the perfect spot for them to say their vows. The chic neutral color palette added a modern twist to the typical beachside destination wedding, and we just can’t get enough of these details!

When I first met Rebecca and Greg, to say I was excited for their destination wedding was an understatement! The couple had a grand vision for an intimate wedding for 36 outside of Texas, and ultimately, The Cape Hotel in Cabo won. After their ceremony overlooking the ocean, guests headed up to the rooftop of the hotel where they were greeted by a Mariachi band. For a fun twist, the couple had their bridal party announced while shaking maracas, and the bride and groom had their grand entrance with even bigger maracas to start off the night in style.
During their first dance, cold sparklers were set to go off for their finale before they settled down to a five-course plated meal, followed later in the evening by food stations for late-night snacks. One of my favorite details of the day were the matte black chargers that paired beautifully with the leather menus specifically created for the couple. It was topped off with gold-rimmed oyster shell place cards as a nod to the beach.
Stilt walkers were brought in during dinner and did an acrobatic act for guests to see. The dance floor did not stay empty all night as the couple had flown in two DJs from Las Vegas to get the party started. The night then cumulated with a stunning firework display as the guests were dancing below. The couple ended the night with a sparkler exit! It was a lovely day and my favorite part of the night was hearing the gasps and exclamations of the guests who were so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful firework display to celebrate the couple’s union.
