Romantic Countryside Wedding at Woolverton Inn

The ideal location for a romantic, countryside wedding on the East coast? The picturesque Woolverton Inn is just the place! Between the stunning estate, expansive green grounds, and sheep residing there, it made for the perfect classic and whimsical setting. The couple, Heather and Remy, chose to accent the beautiful property with rustic wedding colors like gray, blush, and dusty blue – plus a little sparkle, of course! From the twinkling reception to the bride’s gown with shimmering silver beading. But it wasn’t just the decor that shined. The bride & groom’s smiles lit up the day, signaling a bright future full of love.

Perched high above the Delaware River in Stockton, NJ sits Woolverton Inn, a bucolic country estate. Heather & Remy envisioned a romantic, countryside wedding and Woolverton was the perfect setting! The couple’s invitations from Bella Figura set the tone for their celebration— crisp white paper featuring elegant, pale gray lettering, delicate watercolors of sage greenery and a custom, gilded wax seal. There was even a sweet little sheep illustration included in the suite in a nod to the venue’s wooly residents!

Their florist, Flora, created spectacular bouquets for Heather and her bridesmaids. Striking pale chartreuse protea surrounded by pretty white blooms and elegant sprays of eucalyptus. The bride wore a vintage-inspired Anna Campbell gown with intricate lace sleeves covered in crystalline, silver, dew drop beading. A sparkling, embellished hair comb and foot cuffs dripping with glistening strands of beads provided a touch of luxury to the bride’s look. The groom sported a perfectly tailored custom Michael Duru tux.

After a ceremony at the venue’s charming, white arbor, guests sipped “Married Mules” and “My Dear Kirs” while we snuck away with Heather and Remy for a few portraits with the Woolverton sheep! Then, guests were lead to the reception where gold chandeliers and strings of sparkling lights lit the tent. Dark walnut, cross back chairs lined beautiful farm tables set with gold-trimmed tableware, vintage blue goblets, and ivory runners. The day ended with a late night sparkler exit— a picture perfect finish to a picture perfect day!
