The colors and textures in this vibrant surfing summer birthday party are unmatched. The lightning bolts, checkered prints and the pops of pink florals give this boy party the fun and playful summer vibe everyone is looking for! We love that this theme is filled with unique details. It started with a surf theme, and they added in the birthday boys favorite colors and additional elements to liven it up. Every little detail works perfectly together! We certainly see this being inspiration for one of our future parties.

“My son, Cruz, had a surf theme for his 6th birthday party last summer and it was one of the coolest ever!! I was fumbling around thinking of a theme for his 6th birthday and came up with a design of a few of his favorite colors and fun graphics to create the perfect summer boy party! We used bright teal, chartreuse, and green for the color palette. We also incorporated lightning bolts, checkered print, yin & yang and happy faces to make this party come to life. No special theme, just all things cool for my love Cruz!! He really is the happiest, sweetest, and ‘cool as a cucumber’ guy, so it definitely worked.”

“Of course, my dear friendors helped bring my vision to life! Sweet Salvage Rentals brought their adorable kids tables and chairs along with a bar for the adults. They also brought the perfect blue & white umbrellas along with the ultimate dessert set up. The Pop Shop adorned everything with her incredible balloons in all of our fun colors. She even added in lightning bolts and checkered print. I especially loved the backdrop she created. Last minute I added in a surfboard from our garage and it all came together.
When I asked Tanya from Earth & Grace to do the florals, I told her I wanted different textures, funky, neon and fun! She packed a punch with those rad florals in bright yellow, blue and purple. They were just the pop that the table needed! One of my favorite elements of this party were the amazing little details. So many cute signs, place cards, and drink stirrers designed by Pirouette Paper and cut by Creative Amme. All of which really brought the party together!
The kids had fun on a water slide in our front yard and with a Nerf Battle – summer fun at it’s best! Meanwhile, the adults had fun sipping on Cruz-a-ritas at the bar! Last but not least, the desserts were so epic and tasted amazing! Danielle of Sheila Mae is so talented and that cake will forever be my favorite! This party is the best inspiration for Summer, we made the most amazing memories. Now, it has me inspired to plan this year’s festivities!”
