This Britney Spears styled shoot was inspired by empowerment to come back even stronger, no matter what you have been through. We love that there are pops of all things ‘Britney’ throughout this shoot. There are so many small details, you may just have to look through this article twice to catch them all. Her lyrics puns throughout, especially on the drink stirrers, are so fun and creative! This shoot is bold, edgy, and most of all fun, which sums up Britney Spears.
The planner shares,
“This dream team is going to ‘hit you baby one more time’. The team consists of Hello Pretty Events, Daydream Studio LA, Drea Savy Designs, and Home Love Events. It is a tradition of ours to put community over competition and get together for our annual styled shoot. We take turns designing each shoot.
For this year’s Halloween theme, we showcased our favorite princess of pop, the one and only, Britney Spears. The ‘It’s Britney witch’ theme is filled with all things Britney and the empowerment that comes with her! The designer for this particular shoot was, Daydream Studio LA, and planned by myself, Hello Pretty Events. The inspiration was to show how powerful we are as women. To show that we can go through the worst days, and still come back even stronger, just like Britney.
Britney has gone through so much. We portrayed her overcoming her adversaries with the ‘RIP Conservatorship’ and ‘Haters tombstones’ that are on the grass in the Britney witch moment. We chose bold colors such as the bright fuchsia in the balloons to mimic her strong and boldness, while featuring an edgy color such as the lime greens to portray her risk taking and edginess!”
The planner continues,
“Her ‘loneliness may have killed her’, but she is no ‘basic witch’, and she came out stronger! This was portrayed in the lime green moment with the picnic table. The table also came with all of the sweet goodness that highlighted Britney and the 90s icons. Notice the diary that she wrote all her secrets in, and don’t forget all the Britney lyric puns on the drink stirrers.
Despite our Britney Spears styled shoot not going quite as planned, and missing small elements like her snake around her neck and racing against the sunset, we never gave up and we finished strong as a team! We kept that Britney spirit going and persevered!
Our hope is that this shoot along with all the struggles that came with it inspires others, to always have that ‘never give up’ spirit, and to keep fighting for each other and your dreams!”
