The Infinite Events office is where owner Erica Trombetti and her team brainstorm the beauty that makes up the weddings & events they plan and design. We are taking a peek inside the whimsical office and picking Erica’s brain. Her gallery wall makes a statement in the small space, being both decorative and inspirational. Oh, and fun too!
Tell us a little more about Infinite Events and how you got started!
Infinite Events was started in 2008 and I came on board in 2009. I actually went to school for broadcasting and production and produced corporate events. When I moved back to Rhode Island, Infinite was hiring for a wedding planner and I took a chance and applied. My boss at the time loved my personality and knew I had something so she gave me a shot. I worked very closely with her and excelled so much that I was booking my own brides in 2010. In 2013 I fully bought the company from the owner and I am grateful every day that she saw something in me and took a chance.
What does a typical work day look like for you?
Every day is different and that’s one thing I love about it! I can either be in the office all day working on design boards and timelines, or I’m out shopping for props for an upcoming candy bar. Other days I can be meeting with other professionals and building my connections.
We love your bright & fun office! What was your inspiration? What's your favorite part?
Thanks! I wanted my office to really express who I was and speak our brand. I have a fun personality and a playful brand and I wanted to showcase that. I started with the color gold and worked up from there. My favorite part is our eclectic wall and our French bulldog tape dispenser. His name is Frank and he is our mascot! Our “Love You More” sign was one of my many inspirations as it has great meaning to me; it’s something my mother and I say to each other daily.
What's your advice for making a small office space work for both your business & your design?
I always try to decorate with items that speak my brand and use light color schemes because I found for me, dark colors made my space confined and even smaller than it is.
You have the cutest accessories on your desk! What do you have to have for work and what do you love for decor?
I always have to have a red pen! I love a mix of modern, chic and fun designs, and of course something gold!
