Urban Copper Wedding Inspiration

With mixed and matched metals and richly colored floral arrangements, all set in an urban space, this copper wedding inspiration is innovative and modern and still so pretty!  Be Inspired PR put together an A-list team to create this beautiful shoot for Destination I Do magazine. We love the unique touches, both imagined and DIY-ed, Gather Events added to the venue, turning a blank black canvas into a dreamy wedding space. They thought of everything from wine-infused cocktails that matched the color scheme to copper piping for place card and candle holders. And let’s not forget the delectable (and classy) buffet style dinner and trio (yes, trio!) of metallic flowered cakes! Read on for how they were inspired:

We took a twist on the traditional soft white wedding by focusing on a moody and dramatic urban space. Our inspiration was all about warming up a hard-edged industrial space with soft, textural plush accessories and beautiful lush florals. Copper was a strong influence in our design, both in material and color.  If you ask us, copper is the new gold! We love how the earthy and natural copper, orange and yellow toned florals and foods dramatically pop off the moody black backgrounds.

We re-imagined the traditional ceremony space by replacing rows of standard chairs with two comfy lounges flanking the aisle. The vintage furniture mixes beautifully with modern graphic textiles, and the ceremony’s dramatic branch backdrop provides a natural, organic element in the hard concrete space.

A mix of geometric patterns, textures and shapes on the dinner table, from the runner to the placemats to the glassware to the napkin, keep the look fresh and interesting. Inspired by the geometric pattern featured in the paper goods, we handmade the nail art escort board in the same pattern.
