Urban White & Gold Cocktail Party

Lookin’ for a good time? This white & gold cocktail party on our lifestyle blog is giving us Great Gatsby vibes while still being ultra modern at the Luce Loft urban space. The posh party included swanky areas to lounge or dance and all the tastiest bites and cocktails of course, guaranteeing a grand time. As the couples sipped on Moscow Mules and Whiskey Sours, they plopped on metallic gold poufs and posed for pictures with painted bricks as props. The main scene was our Cocktail Lounge styled by Urban Shindigs with rental items from PowWow. The Craft Whiskey bar with drinks provided by La Villa. Drinks included: a Whiskey Sour, Maple Old Fashioned, and a Roman Mule. YUM. Speaking of YUM, we had appetizers served from the Food Truck Curiocity Catering . Menu included: All Natural Cedar River Beef Sliders, Braised Jidori Chicken Tacos, Kombu Dashi Crusted Seared Ahi with Nappa Cabbage Slaw and Soy Ginger Sauce, and Parmesan Truffle Fries. Followed by a sweets table from Chez Chay Couture Confections! Menu included: Gold Disco Dust painted Macarons with a dark chocolate ganache, Pink Champagne cupcakes with pink champagne Swiss buttercream, and Dark Chocolate Macarons with dark chocolate ganache. Too much amazingness right?! The night carried on upstairs at the photo booth. The Awesome floral backdrop was made by Little Fox Flower Shop. The couples danced the night away to beats provided by DJ Luis The Beast.

We had some DIY items in this shoot. Urban Shindigs painted the gold wine bottles and melted the wax candles to add an elegance to the room. It paired perfectly with the vintage amber collection from Often Wander. Little Fox Flower Shop and Urban Shindigs gathered up concrete cinder blocks and painted them gold to bring in the industrial vibe.

The models look was was styled and accessorized by the amazing Kim Egel Jewelry. The Rad Hair by Jamie Dana Hairstylist. And the flawless makeup was done my My Girls on Film Studios.
