7 Airbnb’s That Double For Perfect Content Creation Spots

Okay, I have to admit– finding Airbnb locations is a (not so) secret hobby of mine. I know from experience that the platform can be extremely intimidating to navigate! There is such a large array of options for any traveler to choose from, you can end up spending hours just tapping through pages and pages of listings.

In my years of being a frequent Airbnb-er, I’ve ended up using the app in the same way that I use Pinterest – endless scrolling and frequent saving (to one of my many carefully curated boards, of course).

So, I’ve decided to save you some precious time by rounding up 7 of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve had the pleasure to stay at! Each of these places has not only made for the perfect stay in terms of accommodations, but they also naturally double for *perfect* content creation spots as a result of the design and architecture that make up the home!

Saint Jean Cap Ferrat

For anyone looking for a stay in the South of France. This cozy Airbnb overlooks the Mediterranean sea and is just a 5-minute walk away from the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, a historic villa on the French Riviera. The best part about this Airbnb is that it’s affordable while giving priceless views both inside the home and out!  The interior is cozy with a refreshing minimalistic design. You even have a small kitchenette so that you can enjoy meals at home if you want to!

Topanga

For any West Coasters looking for a Staycation. You can find this sweet one-bedroom studio tucked away in Topanga Canyon, a whimsical getaway in the Santa Monica mountains just a few minutes away from Malibu. The space has an open concept design with touches of mid-century mod furniture. You can enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and breathtaking views outside on your private balcony overlooking the canyon.

Lake Arrowhead

For summers at the lake or winters bundled up by the fire. This Lake Arrowhead Airbnb is a go-to for any season of the year. It’s centrally located in Arrowhead, close to a number of diners and grocery stores, and only a short drive to the lake itself! The cabin is two stories and is dressed wall to wall with midcentury modern furnishings with a punch kitschy flare. There’s plenty of space to relax by the fire, cook meals inside, or enjoy nature on the private deck. We were lucky enough to catch a sweet snowfall in the winter!

Running Springs

And just a quick drive around the corner…Running Springs! Another beautiful cabin stay that is a little bit more affordable than the Lake Arrowhead cabin. With a similar layout, this cabin is spacious enough to house up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms! There’s a small kitchen where my friends and I were easily able to cook and enjoy a few meals together. The home has a nostalgic design balanced with modern furnishings and has a number of entertainment options such as board games, tetherball, and a television (with a PlayStation)! The location is extremely convenient, being only a short drive into town where you can peruse local shops and pick up groceries.

Joshua Tree

For all my cowboys, cowgirls and cowpeople out there. This beautiful home is located in the Yucca Valley, just a short drive away from Joshua Tree National Park. It’s nestled in a quiet neighborhood and houses a beautifully designed interior with exposed brick and modern furnishings. The backyard is spacious with a patio that has a number of places to curl up and read a book. The space has 3 bedrooms and a large fully stocked kitchen for the perfect night in with a home-cooked meal. An ideal spot to host a bigger group of friends for a fun weekend away!

Utah

For anyone with a National Parks Pass (or a fiend for camping)! This is the smallest AirBnB that I’ve ever stayed in. This sweet tiny cabin is plotted within an RV park just a quick drive from the entrance to Zion National Park! I stumbled upon this Airbnb because I wanted to go to Zion but didn’t have full camping gear to make it a tent type of trip. This tiny cabin was an amazing alternative because it was affordable and the accommodations were great – a bathroom with running water (toilets, showers) that required a passcode to get in AND was clean, a microwave to heat up any food, and fast access to the park! The RV park was quiet and our neighbors were so friendly. Plus, the pod of tiny cabins is so cute!

June Lake

And for a quick 5-hour drive up north – June lake. A safe haven of a destination. This quaint cabin is the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Sierra Nevadas. It’s cozy but has amazing amenities– a TV, board games, internet, running water, and a small kitchen with a stove so that you can cook meals (plus more)! The inside has a classic cabin design with a modern twist, making every little corner the perfect amount picturesque. Location-wise, the cabin is housed within a community of other small cabin rentals and is only a quick walk to one of the lakes nearby. You can easily walk over to the dock and rent a paddle board or kayak and spend a day on the water!

… and that’s just to name a few! I know that this list is ever-growing. As I keep finding and trying out new AirBnB’s to stay at, you can be sure to hear about it here first.
