A Destination Getaway at the Conrad Punta de Mita

It may be February, but we’re dreaming of warm sunshine, tropical drinks, and an ocean view – who’s with us?! To truly get inspired by our daydream, we’re sharing the gorgeous Conrad Punta de Mita property and all of the fun it has to offer. Picture the most stunning ocean views you’ve ever seen…now; trust us, these are better! The Conrad Punta de Mita recently hosted a multi-day event to showcase how perfectly suited their property is for hosting specialty events like weddings, group trips, and birthday getaways, and we just had to show you what’s possible at this dreamy destination! Scroll down to see our favorite moments from Elizabeth Lloyd Photography and hear from Be Inspired PR how they turned this trip into an unforgettable experience in Punta de Mita!

Private Agave Tasting + Welcome Dinner on Haramara Lawn

“To kick things off, we produced a welcome dinner the first night that started with a private agave tasting for this intimate group of guests. The Conrad Punta de Mita has its own agave studio on-site to be able to hold private tastings and teach guests about the history behind agave, so this was a special treat to welcome guests with a nod to the location! Everyone then headed out to the Haramara Lawn, which looks straight out onto the ocean – talk about a dream! A dinner was planned by Gianna SanFilippo with a chic black and white color palette using rentals from Marweddings, Mac Event Group, and La Tavola, and earthy floral arrangements from Marweddings allowed the setting to shine. A live musician played jazzy marimba renditions of current pop hits, which was the perfect backdrop for delicious food and delightful conversations!”

Sayulita Inspired Lunch in the Sand at Mezquite

“The next day, guests headed out with custom tote bags in hand (thanks to ILU Lily for making the most chic welcome bags for guests!) to tour the San Pancho area and pick up locally crafted items handmade by artisans to bring back as special souvenirs. Guests returned just in time to head to the Conrad’s Mezquite restaurant, a beachfront option that gives guests the chance to dine with their feet in the sand and the ocean breeze in their hair – perfect for a delicious lunch of fresh-caught fish. And when we say fresh, we mean it: guests stood on the beach as the catch of the day arrived right from the fisherman’s boat coming in from the ocean! This Sayulita-inspired lunch was full of vivacious colors and whimsical patterns to mimic the vibrant decor, boutiques, and foods that the Punta de Mita area has to offer.”

Dinner Under the Stars at Codex

“To finish off the evening and end with a bang before guests began to head home the next day, we hosted a final dinner in the enchanting Codex restaurant, a private and secluded option on the property that feels romantic and exclusive – just what you’d want out of a special dinner! We wanted to embrace the natural beauty of the Conrad Punta de Mita and its surroundings, so this dinner was full of neutral-toned elements and organic touches, like woven placemats, soft velvet napkins, and place settings topped with stones plucked fresh from the ocean just before dinner began. Guests entered the restaurant after a cleansing ritual, which gave everyone a feeling of peace and relaxation: exactly what comes to mind when we think back on Punta de Mita! After a gourmet meal with elevated twists on local cuisine, we finished off the evening with a champagne toast in the magical grove right by the restaurant. It was the perfect end to the perfect trip!”

“We couldn’t have been more impressed with the Conrad Punta de Mita. From their staff’s attention to detail, to the spectacular food and drink offerings at each restaurant on site, to the epic views from every angle of the property, this resort is your one-stop spot for a dreamy getaway. We’re already planning our next trip!”
