Fun Family Photos in A Beautiful Bright Home

We’re stepping inside the daily life of a big happy family in a happy new home on IBT today. Our baby blog has seen fun family photo ideas before like these sweet sand dune photos or these boho family photos. But these fun family photos are on another level! The family is not only beautiful, but also share a stunning home, decorated keenly by mama bear over there (Nikki, can you come help us decorate?!). In -home family photos are my favorite because they feel the most intimate & raw when documenting families in the space where their love grows. In this particular case, it was another milestone the Schwartz Family allowed me to be a part of. I’ve had the honor of capturing this stylish family for a few years now. When I first met Nikki, I was in awe of her eye for interior design and her timeless taste in fashion is not just effortless but compliments the aesthetic of her home. Also, her children are just the most perfect little models.

Beyond the aesthetic of her home; the connection of her family is unreal. Their kiddos radiate with joy, and honestly, Nikki & Rich make the most affectionate loving parents. These fun family photos were perfect to commemorate The Schwartz Family’s recent move-in to their dream home, where Nikki was a part of the building process, picking every little detail. Every corner in their home is unique and genuine to their little family.

My goal was to capture them freely in the environment in which they love and grow, every single day, and boy, did they make it easy. There were no “cheeses” or forced smiles – just them in their new home, in their element, making REAL memories- cooking, chasing, piggy-back riding, air-plaining and playing. It’s in these moments I feel we are truly able to capture the personalities and connection of a family authentically.
