Photo Shoot Proposal

If you love a good proposal story like the rest of us, you’re in store for something special on our wedding blog today! This beautiful wedding inspiration shoot turned into a photo shoot proposal between the (now!) real bride and groom to-be! With gorgeous decor and a photographer already set up, this groom picked the perfect time to pop the question. Not only are we in love with this proposal but the gorgeous pink and white mock wedding too! Everything from the hydrangea filled overhang above the sweetheart table to the trio of cakes for desert were as pretty as can be! Talk about a recipe for some picturesque proposal photos! The best part? The bride-to-be was completely surprised! Here’s how it all went down from Katelyn James Photography, who captured every second!

This styled shoot started out like any other. The models were ready, the table scape was perfected… but this shoot was different.  After modeling and shooting for a good hour, the groom stepped to the side to allow the photographers to take some portraits of just the bride. I prompted the groom to join his girlfriend for a few more poses and that’s when everything became magical! Instead of posing, he turned to his girlfriend and got down on one knee!!! It’s not everyday that you get proposed to in a wedding dress!!! Enjoy this beautiful shoot and SURPRISE proposal!!!!
