Our first of the 10 fall recipes is this delicious caramel apple cinnamon roll! While break and bake will always have a spot in our hearts, this recipe makes us even more confident in our cooking skills…

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2½ tsp yeast (1 package)
  • 1 cup milk (warmed)
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups flour

For the Filling:

  • ⅓ cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbs cinnamon
  • 2 large granny smith apples (peeled, cored and diced)

For the Caramel Syrup:

  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 6 tbs heavy cream

02. Sugar Cookie Apple Crumble Cheesecake Pie

Ingredients:

Crust and Crumble Topping

  •  One 17.5-ounce pouch sugar cookie mix
  •  2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  •  1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  •  3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  •  About 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour, or as necessary

Cream Cheese Filling

  •  One 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened (I used lite)
  •  1/4 cup granulated sugar
  •  1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  •  1 large egg
  •  2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Apple Filling

  •  1 1/4 cups apple pie filling, with more fruit
  •  1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  •  1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste

  • 3 cups milk chocolate chips divided
  • ½ cup butter cut into pieces
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups flour

06. Prosciutto Apple and Sage Butter Chicken with Cider Pan Sauce

  • 4 chicken cutlets, or 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced in half horizontally
  • Kosher salt and black pepper
  • 4 teaspoons apple butter
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or 4 thin slices of gouda cheese

  • 2 small shallots, halved

  • 2 yellow onions, thinly sliced

09. Mini Pastry Wrapped Cranberry Baked Brie Bites

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2-4 tablespoons brown sugar, use more or less to your taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 sage leaves, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 2 sheets (1 box) frozen puff pastry, thawed
