The bride to be shares…
Buddy and I met at our current job and were both involved in other relationships that weren’t going too great. We started off as best friends, helping each other with our issues, and it grew from there! 🙂 I honestly don’t remember our first “official” date because we did so much together as best friends beforehand! So pretty much every time we were together it was a “date” to me!
He proposed to me similar to how he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the Sunday before Thanksgiving (my whole family celebrates thanksgiving early) and he asked me in front of my whole family (they all knew of course!). All of my cousins’ backs were facing me, and they all turned around and were holding signs they read “Leila will you marry me?” I then turned around to face Buddy and he’s on one knee!
