How to Prepare for A Rainy Day Wedding

Rain may be good luck on your wedding day, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be prepared for it! Wherever your wedding is located (even if it’s inside!), there is always a slight chance the weather won’t cooperate. So, the best thing you can do is have a back up plan. Here are a few tips to help you prepare for a rainy day wedding. We hope they help!

Wear the Right Thing

Trudging through mud is never a good thing. Make sure you don’t get your pretty wedding shoes (or dress!) dirty in muggy waters.

Tent It

The best thing you can do to prepare for a rainy day wedding is a tent! Keep everyone dry and save all your decor!

Bear (matching) Umbrellas

You will definitely still want to take outdoor photos so supply your bridal party with umbrellas so they can brave the elements.

Keep Guests Warm

Even if the rain pauses, the day is bound to be chilly. Make sure guests are comfortable with pretty pashmina scarves.

Take it Inside

Finally, it’s always smart to have an indoor option in case things really go South! This is smart to consider when choosing a venue.
