Palm Springs has become an idyllic wedding location and this wedding is every reason why. Its all-shades-of-pink color scheme, bougainvillea covered, palm tree shaded venue, and bridesmaid dresses that echo the pretty desert patterns, mastered the Palm Springs vibe.
From the planner, Constance Curtis, When I began planning Caren and Michael’s wedding, there were many decisions that had to be made, including finding the perfect Palm Springs Venue for them to get married at. After discovering Sparrows Lodge, which had just finished a remodel, Caren and Michael knew this was the perfect location for them. From there, we began to create a vision. Inspiration came from two key elements during the planning process. The first were geodes. Michael was currently in school to be a geologist and these unusual rocks were sentimental to the couple. We knew we would incorporate them in to the wedding and use them as inspiration throughout. The second source of inspiration were the gorgeous Mara Hoffman bridesmaid dresses Caren had selected for her girls to wear. They too, like the geodes, were unique. From there, the colors and the overall vision fell in to place.
This couple and their family were a pleasure to work with. I feel very blessed to have been able to work with them and be part of such a special day in their lives. One of the most memorable parts of the evening was their first dance. Caren and Michael had taken lessons and they nailed it! As a wedding planner, I have seen many first dances and theirs will definitely be one I remember.

I’m absolutely obsessing over this wedding. I adore the paper good and details like the Brackish bow ties, but really everything from the setting, to the layout of the reception to the couple is absolutely perfect. Beautiful design!
