Palm Springs Ivory & Blush Estate Wedding

This ivory & blush beauty on our wedding blog today took our breath away as soon as we first set eyes on it! Though our love affair with it pales in comparison to that of the beautiful bride and groom! Their Palm Springs, California wedding at the Cree Estate was a romantic outdoor event. Guests watched them wed in a quite-perfect palm tree shaded ceremony, and celebrated under a sea of market lighting. The groomsmen tugged at our classic-loving heart strings in black tuxes while the bridesmaids stunned in a mix of embellished blush and nude colored gowns. And then there’s the handsome groom donning black on black and the bride who looks like she just walked off the catwalk in her halter lace wedding dress and cathedral veil. We’re dying.

Wine bottle centerpieces and fresh baguettes on the rectangle reception tables nodded to the bride’s Italian heritage, and ceramic pears on the sweetheart table served as the perfect pun to the the new “Pearrings.” Cutesy sayings such as “Can I get a witness?” dotted the cocktail & reception areas on chalkboard signs. An asymmetrically covered ceremony arch & rustic wooden doors created the perfect photo-opps, while the sandy desert setting made for some magical moments of its own.

Sisterlee Photography captured every gorgeous detail and sweet moment from the rose, peony, and snapdragon bouquet to the bride & groom’s first dance. To them this wedding is “easily going down in the books as one of our favorite events of all time.”

So take a good long look, because every bit is just as beautiful as the last. Oh! And how sweet are these words from the bride?!

“Looking back on our wedding day, I think of how I felt running through the tunnel of sparklers to our getaway car, hand-in-hand with my brand spankin’ new husband (what?!). A simultaneous sigh of relief and disbelief that this fairytale day could already be over, mixed with loads of excitement for the many years to come. A lifetime of dreaming and a year’s worth of planning had just culminated in the gathering of all our favorite people in the world, and we couldn’t have asked for a better party to kick our life together off with!”
