We’re so excited to share this hair DIY with you on our style blog today! A double ponytail is a great trick to getting that perfectly voluminous ponytail you’ve always wanted! Lucky for you, Erica from 10.11 Makeup is showing us how to get the look! In five easy steps, you will have a ponytail that every girl dreams of!
SUPPLIES:
Hair Brush
Hairspray (Erica loves Kenra Volume Spray)
Hair Bands
Wide Tooth Comb
Texturizer (Erica loves Style For You “Ocean”)
STEP 1
Gather your the hair from the crown portion of your head and up and clip out of the way.
STEP 2
Gather the remaining hair, and secure into a pony tail.
STEP 3
Unclip the top portion and secure into a ponytail, with the placement as close to the other pony tail as possible.
STEP 4
For a more finished look, take a small section of the top pony tail, wrap it around the hair tie and secure the end with a bobby pin.
STEP 5
Tighten it up and mess it up. You can get a little more height simply by pulling the pony tails apart to tight the hair, and finish with a little texturizing spray for a messier and fuller pony.
