Get out your calendars because planning your next vacation starts here. Really, from the moment you land in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (a super quick flight by the way!) the views are breathtaking in every direction. Seriously, this place is unreal – the perfect spot for a little getaway with my hubby and baby girl! We stayed at the gorgeous Hotel Terra right in Teton Village at the base of the mountains and only half a mile from Grand Teton National Park – a must do!!
We would head down to Café Terra in the mornings and grab an iced coffee (but first.. coffee ;)) and some sandwiches to go, hop in our car, and head on over to the the Grand Teton Park.
With sights so gorgeous and tons of wildlife, we visited the park multiple times and made the quick trip to Yellowstone as well! (hint: you can buy a pass to get into all the parks that’s good for a few days!). We got the chance to see Moose, Elk, Deer, Black Bears, and Bison and some amazing rivers and waterfalls too!
Exploring downtown Jackson Hole area was another one of my fave things! A carriage ride around the town square and a stop at the most delicious cafe, Persephone Bakery, and a little shopping (new cowboy boots, check!) made for one fine day!
Not gonna lie, we enjoyed a lot of good eats on this trip and I’m still raving about the hand-crafted pizzas we had at the hotel’s Il Villaggio Osteria! OMG. Right there outside the hotel you can also take the gondola to the top of the mountain for a super yummy happy hour overlooking basically all of Jackson Hole… guys, it’s BEAUTIFUL! And did I mention the rooms? Because they are modern and luxurious and make you never want to leave! The views from our balcony… and from the pool.. and basically from anywhere were beyond amazing. Talk about a relaxing vacay in the most stunning place ever.

Before heading out I made sure to pick up some handmade souvenirs from local artisans right there in the “Made” shop in the hotel.. and also one last iced coffee! Our weekend stay at Hotel Terra was all this and more, but you just have to see it for yourself!

it’s so beautiful there! i went as a teen and would love to go again. I also cannot help but think of the Modern Family episode when they were in Jackson Hole. so funny!
