We look forward to Be Inspired PR‘s Tassels & Tastemakers event every year, and 2019’s Moroccan Oasis was no exception! It’s always a great chance to network with the best of the best in the wedding, wellness, and lifestyle industries. However, we also always look forward to the decor and Instagram moments that they’ll dream up this time! For this year’s event, the design team went for a Moroccan Oasis theme, and let’s just say they nailed it. From the most stunning lighting and floral installations to delicious themed bites and cocktails, this party was one for the books!
The event was hosted at The Revery in LA, a brand new venue that’s the perfect white blank slate for any event. Collective Rentals and La Pinata Party Rentals filled the space with plush lounges, Moroccan oasis inspired rugs, and the coolest shelving displays.
We especially loved this photo moment at the entrance of the event that thanked all of the amazing vendors who made the party possible! Welcome to paradise indeed.
Some of our favorite elements at the event were all of the amazing floral displays that the design team at Bloominous created! There were palm-filled photo backdrops and stunning arrangements throughout the event that tied the theme together.
How cute are those swing chairs from West of Lincoln!? We’re obsessed. BRB while we buy them for our office!
Speaking of things we need… The lighting and draping situation by Amber Event Production took the Moroccan Oasis theme to the next level. Can we talk about those hanging white lanterns and basket lighting!? They also created a VIP lounge area using draping and rope to separate the spaces.
Inside the VIP lounge, the dream team at BoxFox was building DIY gift boxes with some of their most popular products! There were also fun items from Tula, Essie, Erin Condren, Nugg Beauty, Cured Nutrition, and BABE Wine! Talk about swaaaag! 31 Bits also gave out the cutest VIP bracelets at check-in. Score!
There was also a Moroccan bazaar-inspired grazing station from the geniuses at Colette’s Catering. We mean, there was a bread chair. Bread chair! Amazing.
When we weren’t picking up swag or grazing on food, we were most likely at the bar. Colette’s Catering had two signature cocktails – The Desert Daydream and the Casablanca Mojito. Both were so delicious! They also served our favorite BABE canned wine with rosé, grigio, and red options.
Tassels & Tastemakers is known for having fun and unique guest activations, and their Moroccan Oasis party was no different! Veiled Vanity Artistry created a “braid bar” where guests could get trendy braids with hoop earrings weaved in and other fun accessories.
Outside, The Wild Posy kept guests cool in the July heat with wine poured over colorful popsicles. They had the most amazing branded trailer setup, complete with custom license plate and neon sign!
Kinada Events created the coolest balloon installation that really nailed the color scheme, and Smilebooth had a confetti-filled photo booth setup where guests could create their own gifs!
Prim & Pixie filled the space with punny signage and details that were perfectly on theme. Napkins that read “hot and not bothered” and a dance floor decal that said “tropic like it’s hot” – How fun!
Elevated Pulse always gets the dance floor going, and this time they had an electric violinist come and play today’s top hits along with the DJ! It was such a huge hit, and a unique twist on your typical event music.
