Emily and Patrick first discovered Smith Farm Gardens on Instagram and were immediately drawn to its charming, storybook-like setting. When they visited in person, it happened to be one of those dreary March days (cold, rainy, and just plain uninviting), but even then, the venue felt undeniably magical. Emily remembers thinking that if the gardens could feel this beautiful in the worst weather imaginable, a perfect spring day there would be nothing short of breathtaking!
The Couple
Emily and Patrick met in September of 2017 through mutual friends in high school and began just as friends (though, Patrick always had a crush on Emily from the start!). Once they started dating, they navigated college and the long distance between New Hampshire and Connecticut. After Emily graduated in 2022, they moved to Florida in 2023 so Patrick could pursue his dream of becoming a pilot. Since then, they’ve built a life full of travel, growth, and new adventures together, leading them to this moment surrounded by their favorite people, ready to begin their next chapter.
On their wedding, Emily made a statement in a strapless floral jacquard gown featuring a voluminous full skirt and sweeping train that moved beautifully with every step.
