The Olana in Dallas, Texas is a wedding photographer’s dream venue! With such a magnificent backdrop, you can’t go wrong with any wedding style you choose. The pastel color palette for this shoot was a soft, romantic way to highlight a spring wedding without taking away from the amazing backdrop. The ceremony featured a circular floral arch with shades of blush, peach, and light blue for a lush spring look, with the architecture of the venue highlighted perfectly in the background!
The bride wore an epic gown with feathery details and beaded accents, which worked with the modern-meets-vintage theme. The stationery highlighted a soft blue tone that was woven throughout the rest of the design in other details – the best “something blue!” Modern decor moments were blended with vintage ones for a unique look, like the mod welcome signage and then the fine art cake displayed on an antique dresser. My favorite part of the day had to be the tablescape! With a mix of velvet blue linens, vintage china, pink glassware, and lush florals, it just screamed “spring wedding” to me!
