We are excited to share this teal mountain lodge wedding with you all today! We guarantee it will warm your heart and spark a smile or two. Tasia & Luke’s nuptials in the woods are as sweet as can be – and beautiful too! Rustic bohemian vibes were carried throughout the ceremony and reception decor as well as the wedding day fashion. The bridesmaids wore long flowing gowns in shades of teal while the groomsmen wore buttoned up white shirts and black pants. And don’t they look great?! The stylish wedding party stood by the newlyweds’ side under a sea of Evergreen trees after walking a boho carpet lined aisle. Yes, it’s just as unique and beautiful as it sounds! But don’t just take our word for it – see for yourselves…
Photographer, Kylie Chevalier shares, The wedding day Tasia and Luke put together to celebrate their wedding was a dream to be apart of. Tasia, one of the creatives and founders of the new styling company The Locke & Co. covered every detail from hand selected glassware to perfectly created signage, furniture and table settings. Their 2 year old, Penelope, was running around keeping us all laughing and adoring, and it was so fun to have her as part of the day.
The toasts and speeches given by friends and family would bring tears to anyones eyes. The dancing and singing could be heard a mile away all through the night. All in all, it was a true celebration of a wonderful marriage, a wonderful couple and their wonderful family.
From the bride…
When planning our wedding day, we knew right away we wanted something tucked in a mountain side under huge trees and stars. There is something so refreshing and serene about this setting for us. We decided on Upper Meadow Lodge because it mixed the natural elements we were looking for but also created an intimate setting for our family and friends. The night of our wedding truly feelings like a whimsical dream. The energy flowing in the air was filled with love and laughter.
My favorite moments are hard to narrow down as the whole day is just one big “happy face.” However, I think the moments that stick out most were; seeing Luke for the first time as I walked down the aisle. I wasn’t really nervous at all during the process, but seeing his face after all the anticipation just made my heart flutter. Another favorite moment was the father daughter dance. My dad and I have such a special bond and sharing this moment with him was something we both had envisioned for a life time. It was filled with love, tears and true peace to our heart.
I love the “Sip Sip Hooray” sign. So cute!!
