Like many couples who experienced the hardships of the pandemic, Caitlin & Todd had to postpone and adjust their wedding accordingly. Luckily, they had a planner that was patient, understanding, and confident about their wedding. With a few guest list and location changes, this gorgeous wedding was absolutely worth the wait! Estancia La Jolla in San Diego County, CA, was the perfect resort for their loved ones to enjoy the weekend at.
The main appeal to this gorgeous property was the olive tree that would host as their backdrop for the ceremony. However, the tree was not as complete as we had hoped with weather changes. That’s when our florist, Petal by Radleigh & Sage, stepped in and hung stunning wisteria from the tree branches to create a romantic and ethereal setting.
The aromatic scent of Jo Malone perfume that the couple hand-selected greeted the guests as they arrived. They took their seats for a very heartfelt celebration. This wedding was not only special for the couple, but their families. Caitlin and her mother had dreamt of this day, and her mother was there with us in spirit. A genuinely blissful and unforgettable ceremony.
Post-ceremony, guests gathered out on the patio and dining room for cocktail hour. They were left in gazing the beauty of floral hanging from the chandeliers, cascading long tables, and a floral overload. Custom menus were arranged upon each place-setting, and candles in the custom scent filled the room. It was a beautiful night of laughs, happy tears, love, and lots of tequila! A glorious wedding!
