“Shannon and Michael met at The Boardy Barn in New York. They honored their roots on their wedding day with a Boardy Barn flag and commemorative stickers. Their hot, early June wedding day was filled with love and beautiful details. Family and friends traveled from near and far to witness their vows and start of a new chapter.
Guests were refreshed with mint sorbet upon arrival before a heartwarming ceremony in the Grove, on the grounds of the sprawling Addison Grove property. Food was bountiful throughout. From cocktail hour, to late-night snacks through Soho Catering, the Blind Date band kept the party going all night.
To bring everything full circle, the couple’s friends and family made sure to include special mementos from the now-closed Boardy Barn and remember where everything started.”

“The rich color palette, brought to life through Native Bloom’s, incorporated gorgeous florals, and other details like the marigold patterned napkins and amber water glasses from Premiere Events truly tied everything together. Everything during the planning process was intentional. From selecting a family style dinner to bring their guests together in a shared, delicious meal through Soho Catering, to the twinkle lights through Brighter Side Event Lighting to set the ambiance for the night. Ashley Nicole Affair guided Shannon and Michael through the process and helped bring all their details together into one, seamless vision.
Their celebration would not be complete without the party their amazing band, Blind Date, brought! They even got Shannon up on stage to sing along with the band.”
