There are plenty of things to love about this wedding, but our favorite may be the color scheme. The red and teal blue farm wedding is warm and welcoming despite the rainy day on which it took place! This can be attributed to not only the deep colors and beautiful decor but most importantly, the loving couple. Nothing could dampen their day – and boy! nothing did. We love all the little details too. From the agate place cards to the pi(e) station – we’re suckers for a good pun. (You’ll see what we mean below)
Emily at Anna Delores Photography shares, Pamela and Ethan were looking for a clean and simple backdrop for their Anthropologie-inspired wedding. They found everything and more at Walnut Grove in Moorpark, CA. What they weren’t expecting was the rain. Thankfully, the drizzle came and went, but that didn’t stop the waterworks. Ethan was just beside himself when he saw their lil’pup and Pam come down the aisle.
We love everything about this wedding. Stella Bloom Designs worked closely with the couple to pick the perfect floral palette. The bouquet was a work of art and the eucalyptus garland was overflowing down the aisle. The welcome table was adorned with some of their favorite things from Anthropologie home decor, including the coolest whale bookend we have ever seen. The blue agate stone escort table, calligraphed by Fox and Sparrow, was bright and fun. The hand-crafted watercolor-style invitation suite from Red Calligraphy was beautiful, and her hand-lettering throughout the wedding made it so unique.
The table designs were Pam’s labor of love with fabric from Silk and Willow, copper chargers, cement candle holders, and blue china on their sweetheart table. Finally, the dessert table was covered with mini pies in every flavor and a very special pie just for the bride and groom in lieu of cutting the cake.
The property is located near a working farm which provided the backdrop for the newlyweds during sunset portrait time. What a beautiful palette and what a beautiful “rainy” day in May.
