Nautical Nantucket Wedding

This nautical Nantucket wedding has it all – lighthouses, boats, ocean, and preppy details that will make anyone swoon! Dean and Laura are a beautiful couple and their June wedding in Nantucket is nothing short of gorgeous and photographer Stacey Hedman captured it perfectly! Here is what Stacey had to say about this couple’s amazing love story:

Laura and Dean have an amazing story, straight out of the movies – Laura is a Texas native, and Dean moved to Austin from Massachusetts 15 years ago. I asked him what brought him to Texas and he immediately responded “Laura”, even though they had yet to meet for over ten years more.

As legend has it, Dean saw Laura one night while he was out with the guys and she was out with a girlfriend. He didn’t muster up the courage to say hi to her that night, and kicked himself for it through the entire next day. That very night, by some crazy chance, Dean saw Laura again. He didn’t let this chance pass him by, and quickly ran after her (did he run? I’m not sure he ran, but it sure sounds heart-poundingly good, right?). The rest is blissful history and brought them to this beautiful Nantucket wedding weekend in June.
