Portland Urban Wedding Inspiration

Not only is this urban wedding inspiration on our wedding blog today perfect for brides and grooms with an eclectic flair, but it comes from six (yes, six!) talented photographers that call themselves the Roaming NativesThis group of gals sure know how to style a shoot that’s sure to leave you breathless, oh ya, and photograph it beautifully too! For all of you getting married at an industrial venue or looking to, this inspiration shows just how stunning and unique it can be. The variety of backdrops and props from bookcases to brick walls brings so much character to the space and makes for the best photo-ops! This couple only needed to be outfitted beautifully and tossed a bouquet to bring their “wedding” to life in the Schoolhouse. So pack your book-bag because school is in session and for once we are SO happy about it. Here’s what one of the Roaming Natives herself, Cami Jane, has to say about it:

Roaming Natives consists of 6 girls, and we’re all wedding photographers. We took a trip to the Pacific Northwest and wanted to do a styled shoot in Portland. Krista found the awesome location, Schoolhouse Electric Co, and I (Cami) got the gorgeous Sarah Janks dress through Be Inspired PR! We reached out to Instagram for our models, who are real life married or engaged couples. We loved the industrial look of the space, which helped create the urban and fun vibe we were looking for. Schoolhouse Electric Co definitely set the tone with their pretty furniture and iconic lighting fixtures. Our shoot was fall inspired, with a loose organic berry-toned bouquet and whimsical flower crown.
