Wedding Dress Trends straight from Fashion Week

As we are still coming off of our Bridal Fashion Week high, we wanted to share some of our favorite styles with you all on our style blog today! We sat in awe as gorgeous gowns from Monique Lhullier and Reem Acra passed us on the runway covered in embellishment and intricate details! We are beyond inspired by the creativity of these amazing designers and all the beauty they come up with! Carol Hannah and Claire Pettibone stunned with bohemian and vintage styles that pushed the boundary (in an oh so good way) of what we define as wedding attire, and Sarah Janks made us want to wear ten dresses on our wedding day!

All across New York we saw ball gowns, beading, and lace but it was these wedding dress trends that really caught our attention and made us ooo and ahhh! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of blush and blue gowns that hit the runway and happy to find that our fave “illusion neckline” is here to stay! We loved the sleek silhouettes, deep v-necks, and variations of sleeves from flutter cap sleeves to Kate Middleton-esque  lace sleeves. And let’s not forget the all important “little white dress”  and bridesmaid options we saw at Donna Morgan!

  1. That two piece Reem Acra is my absolute fave! Loving the back of those Sarah Janks dresses too!

  2. I love the look of V neck dresses. I think that they are a very popular choice and that they can look good on many different body shapes and frames. Also dont forget to visit HouseOfBrides. com has LOADS of cute dresses all the time, and they’re generally pretty affordable.
