Moody Moroccan Inspired Wedding

It doesn’t get cooler than this moody moroccan inspired wedding on our wedding blog today! Not one detail went untouched by the bride & groom’s incredible style – from signage calligraphed with fun sayings to super rad florals. Speaking of rad… can we talk about the bride’s getup?! Angel (whose bridal shower boasted the same theme) wore a stunning long sleeved gown made of beautiful floral lace, white platform heels, and topped it all off with a lace trimmed cathedral veil. Post-ceremony, she added a whimsical flower crown for good measure! If your style is even a little bit boho, you will go crazy for all the details of this day. Tell us your favorite part in the comments below (there are a lot to choose from!)!

The bride shares…

Shades of rust-orange, golden brown, rich emerald, with touches of deep raspberry hues – this moody palette makes a bold fall statement. The Moroccan feel added the dreamiest design to those rich shades in the twinkling lit woods of the Topanga canyons. It seemed so unique to connect them all together and boy, did I fall in love when it all came together.

The ceremony took place at the 1909 amphitheater, which used to be where Shakespeare plays took place many moons ago. The thought of being married with its history in mind and saying our I do’s nestled under the most majestic California oak trees seemed so romantic. Not to mention with the most amazing custom mandala backdrop designed by The Shift Creative and the u-shaped pampas surrounding our feet from I Dew Flowers.

The reception was covered in beautiful white drapery with string lights strung across and dripping down the trees. It was breathtaking. Every table setting had a custom acrylic gold foil pressed menu with hand made macrame mini (yours to keep), along with an-arabesque tile, which stated each guest’s name in gold calligraphy. Aligned with lit candlesticks, Otis and Pearl Moroccan glassware, and beautiful gold goblets with rich amaranthus dripping from them. Our guests were provided with brucshetta, caprese, stuffed mushroom h’orderves and our venue’s to-die-for brick oven pizza! A total hit.

Our guests took pictures in our VW photo bus to keep entertained. We also provided the coolest cartoonist who drew up rad cartoon images of you and your plus 1 to take home! The dance room was the best part of it all. If you know our friends and family you know we all like a good, loud, and fun party – and it was nothing short of that. The bride and groom rapped tupac all night with no shame, did the soul train tunnel to the bride’s special request, Marvin Gaye’s “got to give it up”. Everything was perfect. 10 Years and 2 kids later we made it happen, and it was every bit of happiness we could have asked for!
