This couple on the wedding blog today is the cutest thing. Seriously, the bride-to-be is as giddy as ever and her adorable fiancé planned the most perfect beach proposal! Shawn decorated the beach with hanging mason jars, polaroid pictures, and a heart drawn in the sand (hold on.. our hearts are melting). We can’t wait to see their wedding!

Shawn had called me a few weeks before the proposal went down and told me of his idea-he wanted to propose to Karlee (that he had been with since high school!) on Folly Beach and he wanted to go all out. I genuinely don’t think I’ve known another guy so involved in something like this merely because he loved his girlfriend so much…he wanted everything perfect for her! So we went out to “the spot” on Folly a week prior, we marked where he would stand, where I would hide, all the details. When the day finally came, I went out to Folly Beach early with a handful of Shawn and Karlee’s friends to set everything up. Photos from their years together hung on string with clothespins, a giant heart written in the sand, a message in a bottle and tea light candles lining the entire beach to the spot. I hid in the bushes and captured it all. After we were all revealed and Karlee hugged all of her friends, both Karlee and Shawn’s family came around the corner and it made it even better. And to top everything off, when the two went back to Karlee’s apartment, there was an engagement party waiting for her with friends that had come from all over to celebrate. I don’t think Shawn could have planned anything better!
