The excellence of this project lies in its timeless beauty, in the precious charm of our history, and in the meticulous research and attention to detail that tells the outstanding excellence of Made in Italy craftsmanship. The opportunity to shoot in a unique location such as the Abbey of Cerrate, near Lecce, inspired us a lot. The Abbey is an ancient monastery dating back to 1154. The church is in Apulian Romanesque style and houses ancient wall paintings from the Byzantine era. There are figures of saints, monks, and knight bishops. The fascinating history of these places has allowed us to tell an austere and regal style through the choice of color palette, materials, and shapes. It immerses the protagonists of this work in a very distant but rich in beauty era.
All the suppliers who participated in this project have developed some ad hoc proposals to enhance this concept to the maximum. The stationery has many details and features different craftsmanship, from handmade paper to painted miniatures, from wax seals to letterpress printing.
The ceremony wedding dress is made entirely of delicate Italian lace. The high neck and fluffy sleeves help to instill elegance and royalty. Instead, the second dress has more romantic and soft lines thanks to the lace inserts that run from the bodice down along the wide organza skirt. The look is complete with accessories: a mix of highly original and skillful metal and stone weave with which a crown and a hair clip with a cross motif have been made to measure.

The jewelry set consists of a ring and earrings in gold and pink moonstone, entirely handmade, of excellent refinement. The gold wedding rings are engraved by hand. The styling and make-up were deliberately delicate to underline and enhance without excess the authentic beauty of the bride.
We have respected the nature of the places by using only the furnishings present on-site to set up our table. We have chosen glass plates with a brown-gold finish, gold-colored cutlery, crystal glasses for the mise en place. The fabrics are all-natural: Italian silk for the runners and ribbons and linen for the napkins. A menu with a very original rhomboid shape and a hawk feather are the elements that again underline the incredible attention to detail.
Thanks to bold and unusual combinations, the floral arrangement is a kaleidoscopic mix of shapes and colors. Next to the roses, we find hellebores, carnations, hydrangeas, anthuriums, and many others essences that enhance their complexity. The cake is coated in sugar paste and decorated with metal weaves that reflect the style of the floral decoration and is placed on a backsplash made of Lecce stone.
Our welcome guest during the shooting was a wonderful specimen, a royal falcon.
