In designing this editorial, we wanted to capture classic Hawaiian architecture with a modern touch. Using colorful details and tropical blooms, this shoot perfectly captures tropical elegance with a refined editorial approach. Palm trees are in abundance at Dillingham Ranch and the Avenue of Royal Palms was the perfect location for our ceremony. It’s absolutely breathtaking, so we wanted to create an arch that highlighted the height of the palms. The white chairs kept the space light and cozy for this inspiration.
For the lounge, we designed a colorful rattan lounge. Rattan is such a great material that is a nod to Hawaiian and tropical design. Our reception table was a mix of tropical elements with woven chargers, modern gold flatware, and stone plates. This editorial, which features many local Hawaiians and Hawaiian businesses, is here to inspire couples looking to have a fresh and modern wedding.
