The beachfront, cliffside rehearsal dinner,
“We chose to have our rehearsal dinner at Esperanza Auberge. It was the perfect cliffside oceanfront paradise to celebrate the start of our events with our wedding party. The backdrop could not have been more stunning and perfect for golden hour!
Because our reception venue was not going to be beachfront, (I wanted a more bespoke setting that was unique to San Jose Del Cabo) – we wanted to host a quintessential Cabo soiree – complete with local Mexican cuisine, fresh ceviche, flavorful grilled and curated dishes, and of course, churros. This event definitely made a splash and set the tone for what other amazing experiences and scenery was to come throughout the wedding week!”
Welcome party details,
“The night before the big day – a welcome party under the stars! We encouraged all of our guests to stay at JW Marriott Los Cabos , where we held our welcome party and after party. It was the perfect location to gather all of our guests and kick off our timeless garden destination wedding week!
The location had a stunning private gazebo/garden area where our welcome party took place. It was an enchanting evening with all of our closest family and friends. We could not have asked for a more meaningful night getting to eat, drink, dance to the mariachi band, and reminisce with the most important people in our lives. The endless amount of love and joy we felt that night, meant so much to both of us. All of the beautiful friendships we’ve formed through our life journeys have shaped who we are today as a couple, and to have everyone who traveled near and far be there to celebrate that with us was simply something we will never forget!”
The bride shares the wedding day details,
“The timeless garden party! We chose the most perfect garden location for our reception at Flora Farms. The florals were more wild, then manicured, and created such a whimsical and magical feel for our reception. Our day would not have been successful without the help of our wedding planners from, Romantic Cabo Weddings. Illeana, Citlali, and Jesse stepped up, when our previous wedding planner from NYC left us high and dry 20 days before our wedding. These ladies were absolutely unbelievable. They pulled together all of the details of our wedding like it was no sweat – and made our entire wedding week flawless.
Our guests were absolutely blown away by the incredible backdrop of the desert mountains, while being surrounded by a lush and tropical garden oasis. There was a main barn area, covered in ivy and vines creating a storybook scene. It even had a rooftop that guests could go up to and overlook the entire farm in all its glory. Our wedding colors were nude with a hint of sage green. We played off of what was growing in the garden to help decorate the reception. We put local lemons/limes on each table to showcase the natural beauty of the space and tie everything together.”
The bride continues,
“One of the most special details, and means so much to me, is the fact that Flora Farms was able to take the florals from my bridal bouquet and create a custom perfume for me. The scent is delightful and they do it right there on property for you. Now, I’m able to have a beautiful scent of my bouquet to always remember my wedding week. They keep it on file so you can also order as gifts when you send your thank you cards, etc. which is such a special touch!
The food was the most fantastic farm to table meal we’ve ever had – with freshly grown herbs, vegetables, and homemade cheeses incorporated into our menu. We ended the night with hand-passed coal fired pizzas, fresh out of the oven and dancing the night away under the stars and twinkling string lights. Everything from start to finish at this venue was impeccable. Aside from a wedding venue, it’s also a restaurant. So, the next time you’re in Cabo, do not miss going to dinner here. There’s always live music, amazing cocktails, etc.”
